Questions

Good to know

Do I need kayak experience?

No. Most guests have never paddled before. Your guide gives a short lesson on the beach, and double kayaks are stable and easy to steer.

Can kids come?

Yes. Kids from 6 can join the bio bay tour in a double kayak with an adult, and kids from 3 can join the catamaran sails. Child tickets are priced lower.

Will we really see the glow?

Yes, on almost every night. It is brighter on dark nights and softer near the full moon or after heavy rain. Phones rarely capture it, which is why we offer a night photo package.

What should we bring?

Clothes that can get wet, water shoes or sandals, and bug spray for the night tours. For the day sails, reef-safe sunscreen and a towel. Please skip lotion and sunscreen before the bio bay: it harms the organisms that glow.

What if the weather turns?

We make the call by 3 PM on the day. If we cancel, you choose another night or a full refund. Light rain doesn't stop the tour.

Where do we meet?

Our kiosk on the Las Croabas boardwalk, Fajardo (free parking across the street). Please arrive 20 minutes before your tour.

The bay is glowing tonight.

Weekends and new moon nights fill first. Book a few days ahead.
